As a doctor, I am honoured to try to help in the recovery –the regaining of strength– of the debilitated body of a patient. Physical weakness has countless potential manifestations and the disruption of the nervous system is one of them. As a neurologist, I see people with a depleted nervous, immune and hormonal system. Triantafillia was recommended to me by an extremely weakened person in whom her supplementary therapeutic intervention was a ‘medical’ surprise for me. I began to receive a torrent of thanks for my recommending her from people who trusted me and whom I entrusted to her. And when the time came for me, being human, to feel depleted from overwork, I was able to actually experience the effect of her work through a few sessions and got to know her personally. Actually, even she wonders to this day how I was able to become resynchronized so quickly. I, on the other hand, do not wonder at all! Everyone had already prepared me for her knowledge, love, faith and dedication to what she does, and for her personalized focus on the unique needs of each person. Thank you – from me personally and everyone else!

I have known Triantafillia Reziti and her work for several years. I had the opportunity to receive her therapeutic care and then to refer quite a few friends and people with problems whom I believed she could help effectively with her method of working on the body. I feel that Triantafillia creates an atmosphere and a therapeutic relationship with her patient which enhances the treatment process; she sees the person as a whole, beyond just the physical self, and takes into account both the shape and image of the body, while also having empathy and a deep understanding of the patient’s physical and mental pain. She works with a sense of responsibility, discretion and consistency on the specific problem presented to her. She is also distinguished by a spirit of learning and regularly takes part in international seminars as part of continuing education on the Feldenkrais® Method and its individual applications in general, but particularly as it relates to multiple sclerosis. She does not limit herself to the practical application of her method but is also interested in the theoretical understanding of the mechanisms for mobilizing, stimulating and revitalizing brain plasticity in association with motor neurons and undertakes further study, research and work in this direction. In sum, I would recommend working with her on problems of the nervous and musculoskeletal systems.

I have worked with Triantafillia Reziti for many years. My therapeutic experience with her was unique. I went to her with a hunched back and terrible pain in my lower back, and my mobility had been significantly reduced due to a sudden, incorrect movement. I could not believe there would be such quick relief for my problem without drug treatment. Unfortunately, we doctors always associate the treatment of illnesses with the use of medicines. Here, things are completely different. I have learned in homoeopathy that, aside from physical relief, treatment relies on approaching the patient’s spiritual, cognitive and mental world. The patients themselves, whether intentionally or unintentionally, will sometimes ignore these aspects of their self and look only at the physical part. This happens because, as humans, we function with our five senses and that is completely understandable. Triantafillia takes you gently by the hand and shows you the way to how all these parts of the self will be united in a ‘whole’. As a homeopath, I had the pleasure of knowing that, but I had not experienced it. With gentleness, discretion and love, Triantafillia showed me how. The difference between her work and other treatment methods lies in how, as a magnificent ‘puppet master’, she takes the human body and teaches the muscles their new position through their new relationship to the brain, the brain synapses and brain commands. Completing treatment is like leaving a holy place where the body met the spirit and the soul and learned to live with them in harmony. You feel absolute safety, calm and love.

I have known Ms Triantafillia Reziti and her work since 2014. I was referred to her when recovering from a partial rupture of my Achilles tendon. I also had pain in my lower back and difficulty standing. I believed it was all the result of being out of shape and overweight, an issue of wear and tear, or a neglected middle-aged body. From the first session, which Triantafillia apparently used for diagnostic purposes, I was impressed by my body’s capacity for passive movement – movements that I had forgotten were possible for the human body. When she was teaching me to walk from scratch, I was once again impressed because she showed me the way to walk normally, as I had been taught at university, but it was much different from the way I had come to walk over the years, and from the way that I can now tell other people around me walk. As I progressed, I understood in my body how we tighten our muscles when we are anxious (and not the same groups of muscles each time) and that is why we feel pain in different parts of the body from time to time. Now I can relax my muscles and I am not in pain, even after standing for a long time. I can describe various experiences which I acquired gradually and which helped me to have better body awareness. At the same time, the work we did helped me to develop self-awareness on other levels (emotional, cognitive), as well as to realize how these different levels interact in me. This was achieved through self-observation to which you are gradually led by Triantafillia’s method, and this is based on a systemic – in the medical sense of the word – approach to the ‘whole’ patient.
It is one thing to teach the interactions of various factors in human existence and quite another to experience them, no matter how familiar you may be with such phenomena. Triantafillia has the ability to cultivate a unique therapeutic relationship with each one of her clients, founded on responsibility, sincere interest and an ongoing effort to respond to therapeutic challenges. These challenges emerge constantly because the more somatosensation is developed, the more new therapeutic needs – in me, at least – emerge, and sometimes they are unrelated to the treatment that had originally been planned for the specific session. Obviously, the most serious challenges she has to face are those related mainly to complex neurological diseases she deals with and their various manifestations. To be able to meet these challenges, Triantafillia regularly pursues further training abroad. Based on all of the above, I believed Triantafillia would be able to help friends whom I referred to her and, from what they tell me, they have the same impression as I do.

I have worked with Triantafillia Reziti for the last several years. I was referred to her by a colleague when I was going through a very difficult time in my life and I trusted her right away.
Her method and the way in which she has worked on my body all these years is unique. She helped me overcome chronic physical and psychological pain in one of the worst phases of my life. She rid me of the pain and taught me to believe in myself. She is a positive person who taught me that proper body stance is also a stance in life. That is what the Feldenkrais® Method means to me! Thank you, Triantafillia!

The Feldenkrais® Method helped me overcome chronic pain problems that were hindering my daily life. Nevertheless, aside from the method itself, I believe that Triantafillia, the method practitioner, also played a most important role, as she explained my body and its needs to me in simple terms and trained me to learn to listen to it, respect it and help it. I still work with Triantafillia in private treatment sessions, and I am now in my fourth year. I feel that the Feldenkrais® Method, combined with Triantafillia’s hands-on application, has led me to acquire a deeper knowledge of my body, which is something we all need to have.

The invitation to Feldenkrais seminars first of all involves a call to observe, and to control our body and its routine behaviours. Whatever superficially appears – in terms of movement habits/models – insignificant or random is proven, through a personal defining journey, an object for further study and deeper understanding; it is defined as cause. The blurred and indistinct takes shape and is controlled. This revelation – guilt-free and with childlike curiosity – does not come by magic. Through the exercises, we are led to a window onto ourselves. We learn to open it, cautiously at first, but later fully. And this knowledge-light, no matter how obscured it was, or how revealing it now is, brings out our simplest truth, the only truth. And then we can readjust ourselves in our bodies. We seek ease of movement, and thus ease of life. Meanwhile, our sharpened and three-dimensional senses become a means for shaping a new world view. And so, looking inwardly, seeing myself, means seeing the environment as a functional, active setting and not as a dull backdrop.
I exist within, I co-exist.
P.S. I personally thank Triantafillia Reziti for the hand she extended to me on this journey. Warm and strong.

Having successfully undergone a four-hour procedure on both feet simultaneously (bunions, metatarsals) and after using all known methods of physiotherapy for about five months – without having regained the ability to walk properly or sensation and movement in all my toes –, I met Triantafillia Reziti, who was incredibly helpful. After fully rehabilitating my initial problem, our work expanded to deeper levels. The Feldenkrais® Method she uses is unlike any other I have tried. It activates the entire nervous system, connecting all of the brain’s functions to the body while also stimulating emotion. I believe this connection of mind-body-soul helped me to gradually find the ‘I want and I can’ within me. If for some stress-related reason this process is upset, I am now in a position to recognize it and to apply the valuable things she has taught me and is still teaching me. Working with her is the best thing I could offer myself.

I could write and talk about Triantafillia for hours on end, but I will just say that she is amazing. I have met with many of her patients, suffering from various conditions, and they all have the same opinion. I have had multiple sclerosis for many years and have endured difficult periods, with my resilience at low levels and my nervous system in a terrible state. Because I did not want nor do I want this disease to determine and overshadow my life, I used high doses of steroids (strong medications) to cope with relapses, but unfortunately without results. Triantafillia, who became my Triantafillia, with her knowledge and positive energy and through our mindful cooperation to retrain my nerve synapses and improve my mobility, truly helped me to stand on my own feet. She designed a rehabilitation plan specifically for me, taking account of my medical history, my symptoms and my needs. In each session, she identifies the present ‘problem’ and focuses on it. I owe the very fact that I can stand to Triantafillia, who is amazing, and to my own persistence. My neurologist is impressed. She agrees wholeheartedly with the rehabilitation programme I am following.

I met Triantafillia Reziti about 12 years ago, at my neurologist’s suggestion. Having been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, my goal was to find out whether I could benefit from the method she uses on patients with this disease. Very soon I realized that Triantafillia is not a practitioner who applies a pre-set and fixed programme on all her patients. She adapts the programme depending on the person she is helping. She thus uses different ways to improve one’s movement when working on restoring mobility. Triantafillia sets rules, and with the Feldenkrais® Method, which she has been extensively applying, she seeks to expand the rehabilitation framework by creating modules within the sessions she offers. By mobilizing the parts of the body one by one and continually repeating the exercises, one gradually achieves the desired result which, in the case of people with multiple sclerosis, is none other than being able to walk properly and with ease. And when that happens, the patient leaves the session feeling ready to fly, because Triantafillia does not just teach exercises – she gives so much more. She strives to gain a profound understanding of the person she is working with, and throughout the rehabilitation process she is interested in you, your life, your environment, the difficulties you face and how these are manifested physically.

I have the great pleasure of knowing Triantafillia Reziti. Unfortunately, at the age of 49, I needed a cane to walk, as a problem in my lower back caused me difficulty. With Triantafillia, I learned that pain is not physical, but basically emotional and psychological. During times of intense stress, the body, which is our tool, takes sides and a stance. It changes in order to survive the difficulty. And she taught me that if the inside does not change, the outer image of the body cannot change either. Triantafillia cares about the person as a whole. As a wondrous tool, the body serves the soul. And Triantafillia’s soul cares about and serves the soul and body of the patient. Her blessed hands, her infinite knowledge, and mainly her love make the miracle happen. She helps the muscles connect to new brain commands, to feel safe and healthy. New brain synapses are developed and the message for the person is sanctifying: ‘You are safe now. All is well.’ Words are not enough to thank her. The cane is at home, behind the door, to remind me of one thing every day: that I have a date with life.

The Feldenkrais® Method exceeded by far all temporary relief provided by pills, physiotherapy or massage because it truly was the only thing that provided me with knowledge. I realized precisely why I was in pain by managing to delve into the problem and fight it.

My involvement in various methods, such as yoga and Pilates, and my need to improve my practice brought me into contact with Triantafillia and Feldenkrais in 2009.
From my very first contact through a private treatment session (Functional Integration), I felt my body, my breath, and my movement become synchronized in an attuned rhythm. In a very short time, I began to feel freer through movement, to get 100 percent out of each exercise, without pain and with less effort.
Feldenkrais is not just exercise; it is a method for discovering, creating, organizing, liberating and disciplining yourself. The group sessions (Awareness Through Movement) help us understand ourselves better in relation to our environment. Private and group sessions lead to building and shaping an integrated kinaesthetic system essential to human beings.
An injury to my shoulder rotator cuffs in 2010 was the reason I set off on a new path in my life. Choosing Triantafillia for my rehabilitation was a given. Her way of observing, approaching and connecting with individuals is special. She works with respect and discretion. She has a gift for identifying the special qualities of each patient, guiding the individual to shape them and breathe life into them.
Her love and faith in her work and my own need to explore the world of our body – so familiar and yet so unknown – inspired me to work professionally with the body. As a result, my relationship with Triantafillia was transformed from that of patient-therapist to that of student-teacher. I initially trained in Pilates (certified instructor) and later studied at Russell Delman’s Embodied Life School.

To know how to help the human body is knowledge. To penetrate the mind and soul of a person, however, is a talent. I believe Triantafillia Reziti was born to love a person as a whole; she embraces each individual in every aspect, and we thank her.

I came into contact with the Feldenkrais® Method and Triantafillia Reziti about 13 years ago and I believe it is the best thing that ever happened to me. Having been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis with a high degree of spasticity in my arms, legs and head, I realized from the very first session that I had never felt so good in any type of treatment (in the past, I had undergone physiotherapy and had tried acupuncture in London). The results of our sessions and especially the feeling that I have grown taller and become straighter have led me to calling Triantafillia Reziti, in the most humorous way, a ‘witch’! I feel the need to thank her, not just for her help in eliminating my spasticity, but also for the protection, the encouragement and particularly the hope she gave me.
Triantafillia, I wish you all the best and hope you get back all the good things you offer us with all your heart.
