the body and brain institute
Triantafillia Reziti created the body and brain institute to rehabilitate and retrain movement. Through individualized treatment protocols and group programmes, the institute supports treatment and helps improve mobility and functionality, as well as the relationship between the self and the environment.
It has been scientifically proven that the body and the brain are inseparable and interdependent. Their interaction relies on the neurophysiological pathways formed between them. Through this transmission process, the body receives chemical signals (neurotransmitters) that allow neurons to communicate in order to facilitate bodily action, while the brain is set through signals sent by the body. Based on this and by contextualizing body-brain reciprocal interaction, , we are able to affect and change motor, cognitive and sensory dysfunctions resulting from illness, injury, poor posture and chronic pain.
